Overview
For Valtech's 2024 Annual Event themed "Connection creates experiences", I led the visual design of a complete bilingual campaign system — from pre-event invitations through on-site materials to post-event follow-up.

Design Challenge
The core challenge was maintaining visual consistency across a bilingual system — every asset needed to work in both Chinese and English, with different typographic scales, copy lengths, and reading conventions. Format requirements ranged from vertical invitations to wide-format banners and digital screens, each demanding individual layout decisions within the same visual language.
My Contribution
Working under the direction of the operations lead, I was responsible for all visual execution — from developing the key visual concept to producing print-ready files, game asset illustrations, and digital templates. Copy and brand direction were coordinated with design leads across Valtech's regional offices to ensure global brand alignment.

Event Racing Game
I produced the complete visual asset suite for an on-site racing game — car illustrations (×6), trophy end-state graphics, UI screens, and countdown assets. All visual elements were designed independently to integrate with a third-party game engine; guests controlled their cars by tilting their phones.

Reflection
This project required working across formats, languages, and timelines simultaneously — maintaining a consistent visual system while adapting content for each specific context and audience.
Bilingual Systems
Managing two languages within one visual system forced precision in type hierarchy, spacing, and layout flexibility — skills that apply directly to any multi-audience communication project.
End-to-End Delivery
From KV concept to print-ready files and motion assets, this project covered the full production pipeline — coordinating between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Brand Consistency
Working within Valtech's global brand guidelines while adapting for a regional audience required constant judgment calls between template adherence and local relevance.
